I am an exercise and nutrition addict so when I’m not at uni you’ll probably find me on a rowing course, in some kind of body of water or on a court. My third and final love is of a good party. When the sun goes down you will likely find me at the Fat Controller with my amazing friends dancing up a storm. Roles/Goals in AUScA: This year I would love to be able to get more first years involved in the Science Association with increased O week representation at North Terrace and at our rural campuses: Roseworthy and Waite. In addition to this, I would like to increase social media presence on Facebook and Instagram which I hope will increase overall engagement between Adelaide University science students. I had only been to Adelaide twice before starting uni, and they were both to compete nationally for angora goat and mohair judging (I came second). As soon as I heard about the course I knew it was the one for me. It was definitely a change at first, moving to a new state and starting to live on my own, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. It helps that I love it here. Roles/Goals in AUScA: I really want to make sure that all first year members feel heard and are happy within the club. I also want to make sure that fellow first year members always feel included and connected in the club’s activities. |
